Gosford Hospital Redevelopment Project consists of the Demolition of existing structures/buildings, Engineering Services Diversions and Connections, Construction of a new Eleven (11) Storey “Main Building Tower” with circa 35,000m2 of new build GFA floor space directly adjoining the existing Hospital in part, plus circa 9,000m2 of refurbished GFA Floor Space, with a new roof top Heli-Pad, plus significant external civil (internal roads & drop offs, including the upgrade of the Racecourse Rd & Hospital Rd intersection) and various landscaping works, including courtyards, hard & soft Landscaping.

DECC’s Scope of Works included the demolition of various brick/concrete buildings ranging from 1 to 6 storeys, including extensive hazardous materials removal (Asbestos, PCB’s, Lead Dust) and minor bracing of walls, protection of the public and environmental controls all complete whilst working within a live and operating environment.

This project was also successful due to achieving greater than 10% Indigenous Participation.
