Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our extensive experience across various sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Our dedicated team leverages real world techniques and a client-focused approach to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions that drive project success.

2007

Our Beginning

DECC started in 2007 as a consultancy in QLD, focusing on project management for large demolition projects. Leveraging our senior management's extensive network and experience, we quickly secured lump sum contracts in Brisbane and Sydney, establishing ourselves as a licensed contractor.

2009

Our First Major Project

We celebrated a significant milestone in 2009 by winning our first ECI project: the demolition of the Tourle Street Bridge with RMS. This project was the largest demolition on the eastern seaboard at the time.

2012

Expansion to ACT

In 2012, we successfully completed our first project in ACT, the demolition of the Cameron Offices in Belconnen. This led to our permanent presence in ACT, where we took on projects like the demolition of ANZAC Hall, Australian War Memorial Redevelopment, ANU Student Accommodation (SA7 & SA8), and Russell Precinct Building R9, proudly employing locals.

2017

Commitment to Safety

In 2017, we reinforced our commitment to safety by appointing a full-time WHS Manager and support staff. This dedication helped us achieve FSC accreditation, enhancing our operations.

2019

Industrial Growth

We expanded into landfill cell construction in 2019 with the Petrie Paper Mill project, marking our first major industrial job. This project showcased our capability to handle large-scale industrial projects.

2023

Our Largest Undertaking

In 2023, we took on our most ambitious project yet with the City Tattersalls project in Sydney CBD. This complex endeavour involves large demolition, heritage façade retention, underpinning, excavation, and hazmat removal, demonstrating our comprehensive expertise.

Where we service

DECC proudly serves clients across various regions in Australia, including Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Newcastle, and Wollongong. Additionally, we extend our services to regional areas of New South Wales and Queensland. Should an opportunity arise, DECC is prepared to travel beyond these areas to meet client needs in Victoria and South Australia where DECC hold current licences. Our commitment to delivering exceptional results and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility remains steadfast, no matter where the project is located.
